HOT BODIES – LOOK BETTER NAKED
Have you ever panicked when you met someone special, someone you wanted to share a bed with and when it came time to take off your clothes, you felt a wave of apprehension sweep over you? Your confidence in how you look in the all-together was nil. You were afraid of what your partner would think. Would he/she be turned off? Would they suddenly lose interest? With these kind of thoughts running through your mind it would be very difficult to enjoy any intimacy with your partner. You would constantly be aware of, and insecure in, your appearance.
I’m not referring to body shaming. I‘m talking about how you feel about yourself. If you are a tad overweight and it doesn’t bother you in the least and you feel just as good dressed as undressed, then that’s fine. If your brakes squeak, you get new brake rotors or shoes. It’s the same with your body. If you’re easily winded, you’re not getting enough exercise. If you’re lethargic and grab a candy bar for a quick energy rush, you’re not eating right. It all comes down to fitness and nutrition. If you’re starting from scratch, the first thing you want to monitor is, how is your health. Take an inventory of your diet and exercise routine, or lack of it, to get an idea of where you should start. You may have to change your attitude towards eating and exercising as well. Developing determination and perseverance in regards to your health will get you to your goals. Without it, you’ll waver and eventually revert back to your old habits. So getting your mind straight is a must.
Also getting into a routine is a great help to staying healthy and getting fit. You first establish a routine and after a while it comes second nature and you do it without even thinking.
We live in an age when staying fit couldn’t be easier. I know that’s a contradiction in terms but look at all you have available: state-of-the-art gyms with equipment to work on every muscle in your body, hundreds of exercise videos, various forms of exercise from yoga to pilates kettle bells to extreme workouts. We have ergonomic equipment, shoes for every kind of exercise, cross training shoes that work for a combination of exercises. Treadmills so you can do cardio inside so you’re no longer limited by severe weather. There are charts and graphs to plot your progress and doctors have highly specialized equipment to examine every facet of your body. In short, other than your determination and will power, in today’s world there’s no reason not to be in shape.
One of the newest of innovations is the fitness tracker. These come in a variety of types, most fit on the wrist and track your entire day to see exactly how many steps you take, how many stairs you climb. They track your heart rate, blood pressure, and at night they track your sleep patterns.

Yoga, that ancient discipline is a great way to get and stay in shape. Although you’re not grunting through reps with weights or finishing up a 5K run or 25 lap swim, you are working virtually every muscle in your body in a different way. Stretching and bending in a slow, deliberate manner, making sure you don’t go beyond the limits of what your body is telling you, you are keeping you muscles and joints limber and pliable.
It also concentrates your breathing and mental focus so yoga actually benefits your body and mind. It’s a discipline you can do at any age and in any. There’s even chair yoga.

It was difficult watching these because what they were preparing looked so damn good. I got hungry watching them.

One thing I will say is that body builders take it very seriously. It seems to be a calling, enormous dedication, almost an obsession. All of these shakes are hard to watch because I want to stop and try all of them. They all look delicious.
They show once again how you don’t have to sacrifice taste for good, healthy foods and drinks. It’s never easy to lose weight but these recipes, along with a good workout regimen certainly make it more palatable than it’s ever been. Of course it still requires commitment and discipline but just look at the delicious foods you can look forward to after a workout.
Again here is proof how much better it is in this day and age to lose weight, stay healthy and fit. When food companies first started offering diet desserts they were horrible. The one drawback to eating healthy is price. It’s difficult if you’re on a very limited income or even on food stamps, to eat as healthy as you’d like because healthy meals are more expensive.
Additionally, most of the above recipes require kitchen equipment that isn’t cheap. Food processors, specialty blenders, bowls, measuring devices, plus the specialized ingredients that go into making a lot of these dishes can make Looking Better Naked an expensive proposition.
It might require a little improvisation and creativity on your part if you’re on a limited income. However, it’s crucial to break the habit of fast, unhealthy foods.
If you have the space, perhaps you can grow your own vegetables. That’s a good way to bite into your food budget.
